Marvel Legends Iron Man Mark 50 and Iron Spider two pack Infinity War

Hello, Marvel Legends collectors!

In this review I am going to be reviewing the Marvel Legends Iron Man Mark 50 and Iron Spider two pack from Avengers Infinity War.

This Iron Man Mark 50 and Iron Spider have being released before but this time round there are new accessories so getting them here is worth considering.

Accuracy to Iron Man Mark 50 and the alternate Peter Parker head

Well start off with the Iron Man Mark 50 before I go into the alternate Peter Parker head as there is a bit to discuss.

As mentioned we have already received two versions of the Iron Man Mark 50 from Hasbro.

The only difference between all three versions is the colour red and let me just say I like this red a lot more compared to the previous versions.

Mainly because it looks more accurate to the Mark 50 seen in Infinity War as the previous red was a bit too bright so Hasbro got the red accurate on this version.

Iron Spider aside from waldoes also comes with an unmasked Peter Parker AKA Tom Holland head but while it is not perfect or 100% Tom Holland for what it is it is still pretty good regardless.

Articulation and the poses you can get these action figures into

Just before I go into the articulation of both Marvel Legends I’d like to tell you how to fit the Iron Spider waldoes into his back.

All four of them are just the same so it doesn’t matter which one you peg into what side.

When you port the Iron Spider waldoes into his back they can be a tight fit so warming them up may be wise and you may need to put in a bit of pressure when porting them in as mine were a tight fit at first.

While these two are just re-releases of the previous Iron Man and Iron Spider I will go over articulation anyway for those who aren’t aware.

I’ll start off with Iron Man and then I’ll go into Iron Spider next.

As for Iron Man you can turn his head 360 degrees and the head can look all the way and down so you can have Iron Man looking up when he is in the air.

Not a whole lot of neck pivot for those who are interested.

Shoulders move out very far as they are on a ball joint and will rotate all the away around the body if you wish.

Bicep swivel and double jointed elbows work out nicely so no issues with that.

The fist hands have a hinge that move up and down while the open power hands do not have a hinge in them.

All four interchangeable hands will swivel so you can postion Iron Mans hands however you want.

Diaphragm joint which moves a tiny bit side to side as well as a small amount forward and back but not very far.

No waist swivel but I’m not sure how Hasbro would have put one in due to how the action figure is designed.

Legs move all the way out to the side and kick forward very far so you can have Iron Man kick something and back a tiny amount.

Upper thigh swivel works well on both sides so no issues to be concerned about with that.

Double jointed knees so you can have Iron Man in a running pose if you wish.

Feet hinge up and down on both sides and we get ankle pivot as well so Iron Man will have no issues with standing.

As for articulation on the Iron Spider waldoes you get a full swivel with the top peg and there is also a hinge as well so that can move up and down.

The waldoes also have two other hinges one in the middle and one at the end.

Both of them can move up and down as well as rotate so you have more than enough rotation with the waldoes.

Iron Spiders head can look up and down as well as side to side movement.

Shoulders can go out very far and there is a butterfly joint which you can move them forward and back.

Bicep swivel on both sides and double jointed elbows work out just how you’d expect with Hasbro Marvel Legends.

Wrists hinge up and down but the gold area near the wrists can limit a bit of articulation when moving in that direction.

Ab crunches forward and back as the waldoes won’t get in the way of that which is nice.

Waist swivel all the way around the body so you can postion Iron Spiders waist however you want to.

Legs go out to the side very far and can kick forward more than enough.

Upper thigh swivel and double jointed knees work out very well so you can have Iron Spider in a running pose.

Feet hinge up and down and ankle pivot is included so you’ll have no issues with getting Iron Spider to stand.

Accessories for Iron Man and Iron Spider

Aside from the Iron Spider Waldoes and the Mark 50 cannon pieces there are blasting effects and the shield.

There are no interchangeable hands for the Iron Spider but Iron Man comes with two alternate open firing hands for the blast effects.

While it would have being nice to have got interchangeable hands for the Iron Spider you can remove them if you wish to do that and fit another pair in if you want.

Paint applications used on Mark 50 and the Iron Spider

The paint applications used on the Mark 50 Iron Man and the Iron Spider I’d say are accurate to how they appeared in Infinity War.

So if you weren’t happy with the paint applications used on the previous versions these ones will not let you down as they are much improved.

Would I recommend you pick up this two pack

If your a fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Avengers Infinity War is one of your favourite Marvel movies then this set is a must have in your collection as these versions of the character are much better this time around.

For fans of the comic book Marvel Legends this set is a pass for you as these are not from the comic books.

So overall I highly recommend you pick up this two pack as both action figures are worth it this time around with the added accessories.

Do you own this Marvel Legends Infinity War two pack and if so what did you think let me know down in the comments below.
